Spring and the gardening season is upon us in New Brunswick, and it's time for property owenrs to get out their tools and get to work. But if a new home owner has never done any gardening before coming to Canada... Where do they start?

CCANB invited Dr. Fanrui Meng to give an introductory presentation to an audience of Chinese newcomers on Zoom on Sunday. Dr. Meng is a renowned gardener, and his presentation covered a wide range of topics including weeds, composting, soil management, pest control. and more. Dr. Meng spent a generous amount of time answering specific questions from the audience during the Q&A period.

The mood in the meeting was inspiring and welcoming - a testament to the resilience and spirit of the community.
