School attendance is mandatory for all children aged between 5-18 years of age.

All newcomers have the choice of sending their children to either French or English schools.

To register your child to a school, you need to provide your child's immunization record, and proof of date of birth (birth certificate or an immigration document for example a passport, PR card, etc.).

English-as-a-Second-Language Training

Permanent residents will contact the English Language Program (ELP) at 453-3564 to arrange an appointment for an assessment to access Language Learning and Skills Development (LLSD) training.

- NB Employment Language Training (NBELT)
