Get ready to dive into the rich tapestry of Chinese culture as we kick off the new school year. Our registration and classes will commence on September 17th (Sunday) from 12pm to 4pm at Margaret Norrie McCain Hall at St. Thomas University.

Membership fees are $30/year for families and $15/year for individuals. Tuition is $100/schoolyear per subject for members (Tai Chi is $150/year, and Lion Dance has a special fee of $50/year).
Registration takes place at our Chinese School locations during school hours.

Here's a glimpse of our curriculum and class locations:
On Sundays at Margaret Norrie McCain Hall at St. Thomas University (starting from September 17)
a. Chinese Language : Chinese Pinyin (5 years old and up), Primary mandarin reading & writing Level 1 (under 12 years old), Primary mandarin reading & writing Level 2 (12 years and above), Chinese language for non-mandarin speaking.
b. Chinese Folk Dance : Level 1 (ages 5-8), Level 2 (ages 9-13), and Level 3 (ages 14-18), and a Chinese Spring Festival dance team.
c. Mathematics : For Grades 6-9 students & Grades 10-12 youths.
d. French for ages 5-10 : Exploring the similarities and differences between Chinese and French.
e. Art : Unleash your creativity with crafts, sketching, and the artistry hidden in everyday life.
f. Chinese Calligraphy : Writing basic strokes and structures of Chinese characters with a brush, experiencing and writing regular script (kaishu), clerical script (lishu), and seal script (zhuanshu), discovering the beauty of Chinese characters.
g. Chess : Experience the thrill of strategizing on the chessboard
h. Chinese Lion Dance for adults & youths : Train with us to become part of our lion dance team and embrace the traditions of this ancient art form.
On Saturdays at Gymnasium at École Sainte-Anne (starting from September 23)
a. Basketball : We offer classes for students aged 12 & above, as well as those under 12.
b. Tai Chi : Enjoy the serenity & the health benefits of practicing Tai Chi, starting September 17th & 24th at Margaret Norrie McCain Hall STU location, and continuing at École Sainte-Anne gym location.
In addition to regular classes, there are adult-only teams of basketball, soccer, volleyball & square-dancing. Feel free to inquire about joining.

Chinese Cultural Association of New Brunswick (CCANB)
新布伦瑞克中华文化协会(Chinese Cultural Association of New Brunswick简称CCANB或协会)下属的中文学校将于9月17日正式开学,学年起止日期与本地学校一样9月-6月。时间是每周日12-4点和每周六下午4-8点。
1、St. Thomas University 的Margaret Norrie McCain Hall。9月17日开始每周日12 - 4 点上课。
课程包括:
a. 中文:拼音班,中文读写L1(12岁以下),中文读写L2(12岁以上)
b. 舞蹈:分为小班5-8岁,中班:9-13岁,大班:14-18岁,还有专属华人春晚舞蹈团队
c. 数学:(6-9年级),(10-12年级)
d. 5-10岁法语班:体验及发现,中文和法语的相同与不同之美
e. 美术:手工,素描,美无处不在
f. 书法:用毛笔书写汉字基本笔划及结构,亲手体验和书写楷书,隶书,篆书,发现汉字美
g. 国际象棋:体验设“局”的乐趣
h. 狮子舞:培训学生预备春晚狮子舞表演,欢迎学生及华人学习和传承民间狮子舞
2、法语学校École Sainte-Anne体育馆,9月23日开始每周六下午4-8点上课。
课程包括:12岁以上学生篮球课, 12岁以下学生篮球课, & 太极拳
正式课程之外,还有成人篮球,成人足球,成人排球和广场舞。欢迎咨询。

协会运转依靠会费(家庭$30/年, 个人$15/年), 政府和商业的赞助。中文学校每堂课1个小时,学费$100/科 。(狮子舞学费$50/科; 太极拳每课1.5个小时/$150)。
