The battle with COVID 19 rages on in our community as most of the businesses and public offices are closed and people are being asked to stay at home. In an effort to provide financial assistance for business owners and workers who are affected by this outbreak, federal and provincial governments have rolled out a number of relief programs. And these programs were the centerpiece of a recent CCANB presentation.

Vivian Qi who is a memeber of the commerce group of CCANB hosted an online information session on the various different relief programs on Sunday. She shared information including eligibility criteria, tax implication, etc with the attendees in Chinese and answered questions on a case by case basis. The presentation provided some much needed clarification for the programs and effectively eliminated barriers in accessing them. See the attched PPT for more information.
