“Together, Stronger: With NB Health Care, Fighting COVID-19”

Returning to school can be stressful for everyone in the family but it is especially challenging this year due to COVID-19 and all the risks it brings to schools and families. We know this is a primary concern for the parents, which lead us to invite Dr. Yan to talk about COVID-19 and what we can do to keep our community safe.

Dr. Yan talked about the virus's transmission patterns, prevention measures and public health regulations and procedures. The presentation touched on areas of interest including prevention, testing, treatment, care, and quarantine. Dr. Yan also shared some important public health recommendations regarding travelling outside of the province, returning to New Brunswick, and information on how to request testing in-province. The presentation gave a timely update on the current COVID-19 situation in New Brunswick, which is doing exceptionally well in preventing the spread of the virus.
