Chinese Cultural Association of New Brunswick (CCANB) has recently arranged a series of events aimed at enriching cultural awareness and expanding the knowledge of children.

Field trips curated include a visit to the art gallery, a tour of the UNB Wood Science and Technology Center, and even delving into the mysteries of space.

Event One

Exploring the Art Gallery to Revel in Artistic Beauty

Wandering through the world of paintings during a visit to the Beaverbrook Art Gallery is an extraordinary aesthetic pleasure, providing kids with a dose of artistic inspiration. On October 8th, CCANB organized a trip for the children of member families, led by volunteer teacher Daniel Pei.

Event Two

Visiting the UNB Wood Science and Technology Center to Embrace the Power of Science

On October 21st, CCANB arranged for the children of member families to explore the UNB Wood Science and Technology Center under the guidance of Professor Meng Gong. This visit allowed the youngsters to understand the cost of wooden houses in Canada, the number of floors permitted in Canadian building regulations using wood, and the most commonly used wood for residential construction in the country.

Event Three

"Explore Space" Themed Activity—Uncovering Cool Space Knowledge

While Science East typically does not entertain weekend visits, it made an exception on November 5th for CCANB, organizing a themed activity titled "Explore Space" for children.

Teachers led the children through a fascinating journey of space knowledge, and the kids gained a wealth of insights from the engaging lessons and activities.

A big thank you to the organizers, experts, scholars, and parents who lent their support and collaboration to these events. All these engaging and meaningful activities contribute to the self-improvement and healthy growth of our children. —— CCANB 少年团活动精彩回顾

近期CCANB的活动精彩纷呈，组织了多次少儿活动，提升华人少年的文化素养，拓宽知识。CCANB先后组织华人少年参观美术馆、走进UNB木材科技中心、探索太空等活动。

活动之一 :

走进美术馆 享受艺术之美妙

参观美术馆，徜徉在绘画的世界之中，是一种超级的美的享受，对孩子们无疑是接受艺术熏陶。10月8日，CCANB组织会员家庭的孩子们参观美术馆，由志愿者Daniel Pei老师带领参观并讲

活动之二:

探访UNB木材科技中心 感受科学的力量

10月21日CCANB组织会员家庭孩子们跟随龚蒙教授的脚步，走访了他领导的UNB大学木材科技中心。这次走访，让孩子们了解了加拿大木造住宅点给是多少钱，加拿大建筑规范允许用木材营造多少层，加拿大用于建造住宅最常用的木材是什么。

活动之三 :

“探索太空”主题活动，了解太空炫酷知识

Science East一般周末不接待参观，但11月5日专门为CCCANB开放，安排了主题活动，为华人孩子们准备了“探索太空”主题活动，由老师带着孩子们了解太空知识，孩子们在有趣的课程和活动中收获满满。
